Lovely dinner spot with great food and service. We were a group of 9 and had an amazing time. All good we had was yummy and dessert great! The waitresses was lovely. Highly recommended !

Absolutely exceptional food and service. The Lamb was incredible. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. All staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The dog got lots of fuss too. Would 100% recommend and will be going back.

Jack looked after us with Harmony the waitress. The ambiance and quality of food high class. The Welsh Lamb was awesome and so was the fillet steak.

We were staying nearby so popped in for drinks in the afternoon and we had pre booked a table for the evening. Wonderful service, friendly staff, great chilled atmosphere and the food was wonderful. Could not fault a thing.

We called in for lunch as we were passing, turned out to be a good choice, we only had starters and mains which were delicious. Recommended

Fantastic pub, classy with a comfortable atmosphere. Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. The food is stunning, photo taken halfway through our meal. Will be returning! UPDATE: They now host weddings, we were at their first one and it was just beautiful! Can't recommend enough.

Food was very good and flavoursome. Ham hock portion was enormous- one portion could easily have fed two people. Staff were exceptional- very friendly, attentive and happy. Quickly dealt with any requests for additional drinks etc.

I don't normally do reviews but our party of 4 have just enjoyed the most fantastic Sunday roast at the Horse and Groom (30/7/23), without doubt the best pub roast I have ever eaten. The staff were polite and attentive, even bringing water, treats and offering a blanket for our dog to lie on. What's not to like, congratulations to all the staff at the Horse and Groom.

Visited twice over the weekend, once during the day for drinks and the following evening for dinner.

The gardens are huge and there's no better place if you are a dog lover or have one with you. Great place to soak up the sun too!

Dinner was superb. Amazing food and wine, matched by extremely good service. Two words if you go for dinner though... Ham Hock. The best you'll ever have.

The restaurant was very busy but we didn’t have to wait long for our sea bass with summer ratatouille. Well-cooked and a good portion. Lovely apple and mixed berry crumble for dessert. We shall return.

Having moved to Oddington in November 2022, we feel so lucky to be close to the Horse & Groom. On every occasion that we have visited, whether for drinks or meals, we have had a warm welcome, delicious food and great service.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely long weekend break staying at the Horse and Groom. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome, including the dog. All the staff were friendly and were happy to chat and suggested some lovely local walks and places to visit.
We stayed in the ground floor cottage (room 6) which was spotlessly clean and included a welcome gift of snacks for us and the dog. A clean dog bed, towel and bowls were also provided.
We had breakfasts and two evening meals which were all delicious and portion sizes were good. What made the break so special was how welcome the dog was and how he could sit with us in the restaurant and guest areas. The little stream in the garden was great for the dog to play in ( and get cleaned up).
Thanks Warren, Norman and the rest of the team for making our weekend so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next time we visit the Cotswolds.

Lovely location; Fabulous food - great selection of beers. Very attentive and personable staff. We had a lovely meal - well worth a visit. And an added perk for us - it is incredibly dog friendly...... there is even a menu for the dogs !
